I have finished my production and i have started to export it. the file format is mepg2-dvd.

monday-thursday

On Monday i had a big problem, i was stuck on where i was on the brief. I was going off on the wrong track,so i had a tutorial with Dan, we did a mind map on what the program would be called and wala TAKE 2 TV was born. I did some research into different programs like mine e.g. blastcast on the bbc and the sony advert. I also looked at the 5 shot rule (hand shot, head shot, creative shot, wide shot and over the shoulder). i produced some call sheets for my presenter and actor, for when i need them in when and where by.

Tuesday i did my planning for my video shoot, i did my storyboards and graphics and i couldn't film till 3pm. I started filming at 3pm, there were some mistakes from my presenter. I got the filming done by the end of the day. I did a log sheet so when it came to edit the video, i know what i need and what i didn't.

Thursday i edited my video together and created the set in fireworks and photoshop, i put all of the film and set into adobe premier.

im starting to get stressed as i dont think i will be able to hand this in for thursday as im getting stressed out and panicing in need of major help i need more time not 2 days

research part 2

I have looked at tv programs that have used the same enterence to start the show.
this programs are and example

• The politics show
• Panorama
• Parkinson
• Comic relief
• Children in need

I need to look at keeping the same graphics and all the i have to do is change a little bit of the title and keep the rest so i can make a seires.

today im going to look at doing my call sheets and the shooting schedules and find out what equipment i need

do the final storyboard and talk to andrew and dan today about the shooting.

today i have been designing set designs on paper and see which one looks best.
i also have look at how the text is going to look to open the program i have done some different writing effects and i aslo tryed it in carrara as a 3d piece i was in carrara to see wat it would look like with the writin bouncing on the screen or something like the pixar animation i have chosen to go for the bold funny looking font as its is bold and i like how it stands out.
i like how the P wears a pirate hat but i think it need the skull and cross bones but i need more trials i had a idea of a pirate seen with the word pirate in a ship and man yar walking the plank or attached to the side

i like the pirate ship one as more of a affect and wants me to watch more

this is devlopment but i dont have the copy right law for pirate man yar production and i will not be using these ideas for my show as and i aplogise to andrew as he is the crator of this charater

i like the idea of cutting to the artwork and clips of the film but its hard to understand what the people are saying because it is in french

• the idea of the camara following the wall down with artwork on the wall
• the people being interviewed watching the clip or film while talking about it

i am looking on different ways on doing interview you can have:

• the detailed and in depth
• the short and to the point
• relaxed and carm
• in a warzone and panic

the idea of having to chairs and relaxed and carm would be my idea

im looking at programs that have been shot on a blue or green screen

TV project proposal

I’m going to produce the making of pirate man yar by Andrew.

I’m going to interview Andrew talking about how he got the idea for the entertaining character pirate man yar include clips of the animation and the process that was took from paper, building the character and set, storyboards, colours to the final stop motion and will pirate man yar become 3D.

the purpose is to show how art student follows the design prosess and show storyboard and charcher designes and the finished piece

target audence is 10+

and media delivery is web

i tried the sign video again but i added a back light but i like the clip without the light as it puts a shadow round his neck

blue screen test on jake signing

i took a 10 second clip of jake doing some sign lanague i imported the video clip and chroma keyed the blue screen out of the image.

after i placed jake on video 2 slot and i imported a clip of scott which i did yesterday in fireworks i placed the clip of scott on video 1 so jake was in front of the clip of scott.

the clip of jake is very cut edge as there is a little blue line around the yellow part of his t-shirt.

i did some more blue screen recording.

i recorded scott doing some movement and dancing he was sittting behind a blue desk after recording 15 secs i put the video into adobe premiere and edited the part i wanted of scott.

i selected the blue backround to chroma key it out of the clip so i place scott on the backround i crated in fireworks

i had a few problems with the video as scott was wearing white which made the blue show up and was harder to cut the blue backround away from scott.

i had to use the garbage tool to cut some of the video out as the clip zoomed out and back in again from the blue screen.

the only problem was the exporting in wmv format as i did not render it in the right one so it was a big file.

today

today we had a group project to deside what the college tv was going to be called.
we started out by doing a mind map in groups on what programs would feature on the college tv.
we had a another group section on wat the college tv would be called we narrowed it down to 10 and went and did some research into what the public would like it to be called it was clear when we added the results together "Dead good" was the best on out of the 10 but we diside to add abit to the name so it got changed to dead good tv to DGTV which everyone in the group like and agreed on.
we was shown a slide by the tutor about planning a video production and was given a task to do a storyboard and a call sheet and scesual sheet

2nd go to a toy store and buy a load of toy tanks and planes all micro machines
3rd have a crazy person at the side lines
4th go shoppin in your local shopping store and look for some chessy puffs and beer
(if u dont like beer tuff) lol
